The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Taraba State, Alhaji Abubakar Bawa, has donated wheelchairs and cash assistance to two persons living with disabilities, Ibrahim Musa and Muhammad Gindau.
The gesture followed a promise made by the APC Chairman during his recent visit to the Mambilla Plateau.
The two beneficiaries had paid a Sallah homage to Alhaji Bawa at his residence in Gembu, where he promised to provide them with wheelchairs to ease their movement.
At the presentation, the Chairman was represented by Hon. Saidu Umaru Lamu, alongside the Hakimin Tep and Hon. Audi Kachalla.
Hon. Lamu described the gesture as a demonstration of the Chairman’s concern for people across different sections of society, including vulnerable persons.
The beneficiaries also received cash tokens from the Chairman in addition to the wheelchairs.
Speaking on behalf of the families, relatives of the beneficiaries expressed appreciation to Alhaji Abubakar Bawa, describing him as a leader and father to all.
They prayed to Almighty Allah to continue to bless the APC Chairman and grant him success in all his endeavours.
