The Galaxy First Aid and Disaster Management, GFADM Nigeria, has appointed the Executive Secretary of the Taraba State Primary Health Care Development Agency, Dr. Tukura Nuhu Nyigwa, as its State Ambassador.
The State Coordinator of GFADM Nigeria, Jabiru Mohammed, presented the appointment to Dr. Tukura during a visit to his office in Jalingo.

Mohammed said the recognition was based on Dr. Tukura’s leadership and his contribution to public health, community development and improved healthcare delivery across Taraba State.
He charged the new ambassador to use his office to advance GFADM Nigeria’s programmes, with emphasis on first aid education, disaster preparedness, emergency response, humanitarian services and community safety.

According to him, equipping communities with the knowledge and skills to respond to emergencies remains critical to reducing the impact of disasters and saving lives.
