TSPHCDA Opens Recruitment for Community-Based Health Workers

The Taraba State Primary Health Care Development Agency, TSPHCDA, has announced the recruitment of Junior Community Health Extension Workers, JCHEWs, as Community-Based Health Workers, CBHWs, across the state.
The recruitment is aimed at strengthening the delivery of essential primary healthcare services at the community level.

According to the agency, applicants must possess a recognised certificate in Community Health Extension from an accredited training institution and be duly registered with the relevant regulatory body, where applicable.

Applicants are also required to reside in the community or Local Government Area where they intend to serve and be willing to work within their assigned communities in support of primary healthcare activities.

Qualified candidates are to submit a written application, alongside photocopies of their credentials and other supporting documents.

Applications should be addressed to the Executive Secretary, Taraba State Primary Health Care Development Agency, Jalingo, Taraba State.

The application deadline is Monday, September 1, 2026, at 4 p.m.

The agency says only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.
