Wife of the Taraba State Governor, Agyin Agbu Kefas, has rallied APC women leaders and wives of local government chairmen in the state to strengthen grassroots mobilisation and support for the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.
Agyin Kefas made the call during a strategic meeting with the women at the Conference Hall of the Governor’s Wife’s Office in Jalingo, where discussions centred on grassroots engagement, mobilisation and communicating the achievements of the administration to residents.
She highlighted the efforts of Governor Agbu Kefas in tackling security challenges and implementing programmes designed to improve the welfare and living conditions of people across Taraba State.
Agyin Kefas said the presence and participation of the women reflected their commitment to the success of the administration, urging them to remain active and connected with their respective communities.
The Commissioner for Women Affairs and Child Development, Mary Sinjen, urged the women to take the administration’s achievements to the grassroots while remaining attentive to the concerns and interests of the people.
She emphasised the importance of sustained community engagement, noting that the welfare of residents should remain a priority in all political and development efforts.
Earlier, the APC State Women Leader, Margaret Mchivga Seember, expressed the readiness of the women to support the party and work collectively towards achieving its objectives in the forthcoming elections.
