NIGERIA POLICE ACADEMY COMMANDANT VISITS ZONE ONE, KANO POLICE COMMAND

The Commandant of the Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil, Assistant Inspector-General of Police, AIG Auwal Musa Muhammad, has paid his first official visit to the Zone One Police Headquarters and the Kano State Police Command since assuming office.
AIG Auwal Musa Muhammad, who is the 25th Commandant of the Academy, began the visit at the Zone One Headquarters, where he was received by the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of the zone, AIG Ahmed Garba.
The meeting provided an opportunity for both officers to discuss security matters and ways of strengthening cooperation between the zone and the Police Academy. AIG Ahmed Garba assured the Academy of the zone’s continued support and readiness to collaborate on security operations.
The Academy Commandant and the Zone One AIG also stressed the need for sustained cooperation to improve security within the region.
The delegation later proceeded to the Kano State Police Command Headquarters, where the Commandant met with the Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori.
CP Bakori assured the Commandant of the command’s commitment to the safety and security of the Nigeria Police Academy and pledged continued cooperation between the Kano State Police Command and the Academy.
Speaking after the visits, AIG Auwal Musa Muhammad thanked both police formations for their support and expressed the Academy’s commitment to strengthening the existing relationship.
The visit was the Commandant’s first official tour of the Zone One Police Headquarters and the Kano State Police Command since taking over as head of the Nigeria Police Academy.
