The second batch of Taraba State Government officials sponsored by Governor Agbu Kefas has commenced a one-week Leadership and Peace Management Course at the Martin Luther Agwai International Leadership and Peacekeeping Centre, Jaji, Kaduna State.
The training brings together a broad range of participants, including commissioners, judges of the Federal and High Courts, religious leaders, senior government officials, security personnel, political party leaders, and representatives of youth and women organisations.
The programme is part of Governor Kefas’ continued investment in human capital development and institutional strengthening, with emphasis on effective leadership, good governance, conflict management, peacebuilding and security.
The diversity of participants underscores the administration’s belief that sustainable peace and development in Taraba require collective responsibility and cooperation among government institutions, traditional and religious leaders, security agencies, political actors and citizens.
The commencement of Batch B further demonstrates the Governor’s commitment to equipping key stakeholders with the knowledge and practical skills required to manage conflicts, strengthen institutions and promote peaceful coexistence.
The initiative is expected to contribute to more effective leadership and governance while reinforcing efforts to build a more peaceful, united and prosperous Taraba State.
