Fr. Muke made the call in his Sunday message, reflecting on the Gospel of Matthew 18:21–35, which highlights the importance of forgiveness and the need to show mercy to others.
He said Christians should not place limits on forgiveness, stressing that God also forgives those who turn to Him with sincere hearts.
According to him, while forgiveness may not always be easy, it helps people overcome anger and bitterness and promotes peace, love and unity in society.
Fr. Muke urged Christians to let go of resentment and the desire for revenge, and to make forgiveness a part of their daily lives.
He encouraged the faithful to show mercy, promote peace and live in harmony with others, regardless of differences.
The cleric prayed for God's grace for Christians to forgive others as they have been forgiven by God.
He wished Christians a peaceful and blessed Sunday.
