TSEMA CONDUCTS FLOOD DISASTER ASSESSMENT AND DISTRIBUTES RELIEF MATERIALS IN MBASO, TITONG WARD, SARDAUNA LGA

The Taraba State Emergency Management Agency (TSEMA) has carried out an on the spot assessment of flood impacted communities and distributed relief materials to affected households in Mbaso, Titong Ward, Sardauna Local Government Area.
The intervention is part of the Agency’s ongoing response to support communities affected by the recent floods.
The Executive Secretary of TSEMA, Dr. Echuseh Audu, was represented by Mr. Genesis Munjah. While presenting the relief items, Mr. Munjah conveyed the sympathy of the Executive Governor of Taraba state, Dr Agbu Kefas to the victims and assured them of the Taraba State Government’s commitment to providing timely humanitarian assistance and restoring livelihoods in disaster affected areas.
The Village Head of Mbaso, Jauro Idi , appreciated His Excellency, Dr. Agbu Kefas, Governor of Taraba State, and Dr. Echuseh Audu for the proactive and swift response to the plight of the victims. He noted that the relief support will go a long way in cushioning the hardship faced by the affected families.
TSEMA is  committed to continued working relationship with traditional rulers, and stakeholders to monitor flood prone areas and ensure vulnerable communities receive necessary support.
