The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Jalingo Branch, has paid a courtesy visit to the Secretary to the Taraba State Government, Chief Gebon Timothy Kataps, Esq., as part of efforts to strengthen the relationship between the legal profession and the state government.
The visit also provided an opportunity for the newly elected leadership of the NBA Jalingo Branch to formally introduce itself and reaffirm its commitment to working with relevant stakeholders in promoting the administration of justice and the rule of law in Taraba State.
During the visit, the delegation appreciated the Secretary to the State Government for his support and demonstrated commitment to the legal profession and the justice sector.
The NBA leadership also briefed the SSG on programmes and activities planned by the branch and sought his continued support, guidance, and collaboration in advancing the objectives of the association.
Receiving the delegation, Chief Kataps welcomed the leadership of the NBA Jalingo Branch and assured the association of his continued support and cooperation.
The engagement underscores the importance of collaboration between the Bar and government institutions in strengthening justice delivery and promoting the rule of law in Taraba State.
