Bishop Dr. Innocent R. Solomon Dedicates Birthday to Peace, Security, and Prosperity of Taraba

By Michael Rimamndeyati

The Director General of the Taraba State Bureau for Peace and Conflict Management, Bishop Dr. Innocent Rubiruka Solomon, has dedicated his 2026 birthday to the peace, security, and prosperity of Taraba State.
Speaking during the Mount Zion Worship Service held on Sunday at the Crown of Life Bible Church Cathedral and celebration of his birthday, Bishop Solomon said his greatest desire is to see Taraba remain peaceful, secure, and economically prosperous for the benefit of all residents.
He stressed that sustainable peace remains the foundation for meaningful development, noting that only a peaceful environment can attract both local and foreign investors to unlock the state's economic potential.
The peace advocate commended the Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas, for his commitment to promoting peace and creating an enabling environment for development across the state. He said the administration's support for peacebuilding initiatives has contributed significantly to strengthening stability in Taraba.
Bishop Solomon further described Taraba as a richly endowed state blessed with abundant natural resources capable of driving economic growth and improving the livelihoods of its people. He, however, emphasized that these resources can only be fully harnessed when peace and security are sustained.

Reflecting on his birthday, the cleric expressed gratitude to God for the gift of life and called on members of the church and the people of Taraba to join him in giving thanks. He noted that God alone grants life, peace, and prosperity, urging citizens to continue praying for the unity, peace, and continued progress of Taraba State.
