Cristiano Ronaldo Marries Georgina Rodríguez in Private Portugal Ceremony

Football superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has married his longtime partner, Georgina Rodríguez, in a private civil ceremony in Cascais, Portugal.

The ceremony, held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, was confirmed by Ronaldo’s management team, bringing an end to years of speculation over when and where the couple would formalise their relationship.

Ronaldo, 41, and Rodríguez, 32, have been together since 2016 and became engaged in August 2025. Unlike earlier reports that the couple planned to wed in Madeira following the 2026 FIFA World Cup, they opted for a more intimate ceremony in Cascais.
The couple has built a family together over the years, with two daughters, while Rodríguez has also embraced Ronaldo’s other children as part of their family.
Rodríguez has remained a prominent figure beside Ronaldo at major public events and has developed her own career in fashion and entertainment.

Ronaldo, who currently plays for Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr, is widely regarded as one of football’s greatest players and is a five-time Ballon d’Or winner.
The private wedding marks a significant milestone in the couple’s relationship, which has spanned nearly a decade.
